Bright Lights
Teresa Mott
When I think of the ways that the Lord is in my life,
I know His eyes are watching me;
Through His love and His grace there is nothing I can’t face;
I’ll take His hand in mine and be
Bright Lights shining in the darkness,
Bright lights standing for the truth;
Bright lights serving the Lord in our youth:
Lighting up the world, Bright lights!
When I come to the place where I’ll have to choose what’s right,
May He guard my heart and mind;
For his lamp guards my feet and his candle never sleeps,
I’m gonna let my life shine!
I know His eyes are watching me;
Through His love and His grace there is nothing I can’t face;
I’ll take His hand in mine and be
Bright Lights shining in the darkness,
Bright lights standing for the truth;
Bright lights serving the Lord in our youth:
Lighting up the world, Bright lights!
When I come to the place where I’ll have to choose what’s right,
May He guard my heart and mind;
For his lamp guards my feet and his candle never sleeps,
I’m gonna let my life shine!
By Faith
Getty and Townend
By faith we see the hand of God
In the light of creation's grand design
In the lives of those who prove His faithfulness
Who walk by faith and not by sight
By faith our fathers roamed the earth
With the power of His promise in their hearts
Of a holy city built by God's own hand
A place where peace and justice reign
We will stand as children of the promise
We will fix our eyes on Him our soul's reward
Till the race is finished and the work is done
We'll walk by faith and not by sight
By faith the prophets saw a day
When the longed-for Messiah would appear
With the power to break the chains of sin and death
And rise triumphant from the grave
By faith the church was called to go
In the power of the Spirit to the lost
To deliver captives and to preach good news
In every corner of the earth
By faith this mountain shall be moved
And the power of the gospel shall prevail
For we know in Christ all things are possible
For all who call upon His name
In the light of creation's grand design
In the lives of those who prove His faithfulness
Who walk by faith and not by sight
By faith our fathers roamed the earth
With the power of His promise in their hearts
Of a holy city built by God's own hand
A place where peace and justice reign
We will stand as children of the promise
We will fix our eyes on Him our soul's reward
Till the race is finished and the work is done
We'll walk by faith and not by sight
By faith the prophets saw a day
When the longed-for Messiah would appear
With the power to break the chains of sin and death
And rise triumphant from the grave
By faith the church was called to go
In the power of the Spirit to the lost
To deliver captives and to preach good news
In every corner of the earth
By faith this mountain shall be moved
And the power of the gospel shall prevail
For we know in Christ all things are possible
For all who call upon His name
Ancient Words
Wood and Freeman
Holy words long preserved
for our walk in this world,
They resound with God's own heart
Oh, let the Ancient words impart.
Ancient words ever true
Changing me, and changing you.
We have come with open hearts
Oh let the ancient words impart.
Words of Life, words of Hope
Give us strength, help us cope
In this world, where e'er we roam
Ancient words will guide us Home.
Holy words of our Faith
Handed down to this age.
Came to us through sacrifice
Oh heed the faithful words of Christ.
for our walk in this world,
They resound with God's own heart
Oh, let the Ancient words impart.
Ancient words ever true
Changing me, and changing you.
We have come with open hearts
Oh let the ancient words impart.
Words of Life, words of Hope
Give us strength, help us cope
In this world, where e'er we roam
Ancient words will guide us Home.
Holy words of our Faith
Handed down to this age.
Came to us through sacrifice
Oh heed the faithful words of Christ.
He Hideth my Soul
Fanny Crosby
A wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord,
A wonderful Savior to me;
He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock,
Where rivers of pleasure I see.
He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock
That shadows a dry, thirsty land;
He hideth my life in the depths of His love,
And covers me there with His hand,
And covers me there with His hand.
A wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord,
He taketh my burden away;
He holdeth me up and I shall not be moved,
He giveth me strength as my day.
With numberless blessings each moment He crowns,
And, filled with His fulness divine,
I sing in my rapture, oh, glory to God,
For such a Redeemer as mine!
When clothed in His brightness, transported I rise
To meet Him in clouds of the sky,
His perfect salvation, His wonderful love,
I’ll shout with the millions on high.
A wonderful Savior to me;
He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock,
Where rivers of pleasure I see.
He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock
That shadows a dry, thirsty land;
He hideth my life in the depths of His love,
And covers me there with His hand,
And covers me there with His hand.
A wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord,
He taketh my burden away;
He holdeth me up and I shall not be moved,
He giveth me strength as my day.
With numberless blessings each moment He crowns,
And, filled with His fulness divine,
I sing in my rapture, oh, glory to God,
For such a Redeemer as mine!
When clothed in His brightness, transported I rise
To meet Him in clouds of the sky,
His perfect salvation, His wonderful love,
I’ll shout with the millions on high.
Water of Life
Bob Puffer
Come drink the Water of Life
And you'll never ever thirst again
The woman at the well
She told all that she could tell
To come drink the Water of Life
Jesus is who you must know
And from him the water will flow
She left her waterpot
And told them who knew him not
To come drink the Water of Life
Tell me could this be the Christ
Who told me all the things I have done
Tell me could this be the Man
Could it be truly be God's Son
Come drink the Water of Life
And you'll never ever thirst again
You'll be free from hell
Like the woman at the well
So come drink the Water of Life
And you'll never ever thirst again
The woman at the well
She told all that she could tell
To come drink the Water of Life
Jesus is who you must know
And from him the water will flow
She left her waterpot
And told them who knew him not
To come drink the Water of Life
Tell me could this be the Christ
Who told me all the things I have done
Tell me could this be the Man
Could it be truly be God's Son
Come drink the Water of Life
And you'll never ever thirst again
You'll be free from hell
Like the woman at the well
So come drink the Water of Life
Nothing But the Blood
Dave Thompson
You may have sacrificed for a noble cause
Spent your time in seeking humanities applause
Others have made long journeys, to strange and distant lands
Searching for the answer in the heart of man
I too have tried in vain to be good enough for him
Not knowing I could never make the payment for my sin
But God in Heaven came to me and with the Spirit’s Sword
He answered all my questions in His Word
Nothing but the blood for me, to take away my sin
I kneel beneath the fountain that cleanses deep within
Nothing but the blood for me, the past erasing flood
Of justice and mercy, found in nothing but the blood
My heart has yielded to His Will, My soul has found its wings
My mind is resting in the peace that knowing Jesus brings
Still, so many grope in emptiness, a place I lived so long
If only they could sing with me this song
Oh, precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow
The Rock Medley
Erastus Johnson, Caroline Rice
The Rock That is Higher than I (Erastus Johnson)
O sometimes the shadows are deep,
And rough seems the path to the goal,
And sorrows, sometimes how they sweep
Like tempests down over the soul!
O then to the Rock let me fly,
To the Rock that is higher than I;
O then to the Rock let me fly
To the Rock that is higher than I!
O sometimes how long seems the day,
And sometimes how weary my feet;
But toiling in life's dusty way,
The Rock's blessed shadow, how sweet!
O near to the Rock let me keep,
If blessings or sorrow prevail;
Or climbing the mountain way steep,
Or walking the shadowy vale.
Builded on the Rock (Caroline Rice)
I builded on the Rock, on the Rock of God,
Builded on the Rock, Christ Jesus;
I dug down deep and builded on the Rock,
Builded on the Rock of God.
I hold not the Rock, but the Rock holds me,
The Rock holds me, the Rock holds me;
I rest on the Rock, and the Rock holds me,
Resting on the Rock of God.
Why should I fear when the winds sweep by?
Builded on the Rock, Christ Jesus;
Or shaken be when the waves roll high?
Builded on the Rock of God.
O sometimes the shadows are deep,
And rough seems the path to the goal,
And sorrows, sometimes how they sweep
Like tempests down over the soul!
O then to the Rock let me fly,
To the Rock that is higher than I;
O then to the Rock let me fly
To the Rock that is higher than I!
O sometimes how long seems the day,
And sometimes how weary my feet;
But toiling in life's dusty way,
The Rock's blessed shadow, how sweet!
O near to the Rock let me keep,
If blessings or sorrow prevail;
Or climbing the mountain way steep,
Or walking the shadowy vale.
Builded on the Rock (Caroline Rice)
I builded on the Rock, on the Rock of God,
Builded on the Rock, Christ Jesus;
I dug down deep and builded on the Rock,
Builded on the Rock of God.
I hold not the Rock, but the Rock holds me,
The Rock holds me, the Rock holds me;
I rest on the Rock, and the Rock holds me,
Resting on the Rock of God.
Why should I fear when the winds sweep by?
Builded on the Rock, Christ Jesus;
Or shaken be when the waves roll high?
Builded on the Rock of God.
We Have this Moment
Gaither & Gaither
Hold tight to the sound of the music of living,
Happy songs from the laughter of children at play;
Hold my hand as we run through the sweet fragrant meadows,
Making memories of what was today.
We have this moment to hold in our hands
And to touch as it slips through our fingers like sand;
Yesterday's gone and tomorrow may never come,
But we have this moment today.
Tiny voice that I hear is my little girl calling,
For Mommy to hear just what she has to say;
And my little son running there by the hillside,
May never be quite like today.
Tender words, gentle touch and a good cup of coffee,
And someone who loves me and wants me to stay;
Hold them near while they're here and don't wait for tomorrow,
To look back and wish for today.
Happy songs from the laughter of children at play;
Hold my hand as we run through the sweet fragrant meadows,
Making memories of what was today.
We have this moment to hold in our hands
And to touch as it slips through our fingers like sand;
Yesterday's gone and tomorrow may never come,
But we have this moment today.
Tiny voice that I hear is my little girl calling,

To look back and wish for today.
He Will Remember Me
Carpenter & Atkinson
For years now the sickness has robbed her.
It seems to get worse every day.
She’s always confused by her memories,
Even forgetting her sweet husband’s name.
Still He’s holding her hand at her bedside,
He comes every day right on time.
She hasn’t known him for years now.
He keeps this one thought in his heart and his mind.
I know my name’s written in heaven
With all of the saved and redeemed.
And should the day come when I can’t remember Him,
He will remember me.
Someday I may not remember
Jesus my dear Saviour’s name.
I may not recall my family.
I may not remember the day I was saved.
I may walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
but I know His face I shall see.
He said He would never leave nor forsake me,
And I know that Jesus will remember me.

Someday I may not remember

I may not remember the day I was saved.

but I know His face I shall see.
He said He would never leave nor forsake me,
And I know that Jesus will remember me.
Stand for Truth
Rachel Busenitz
Ephesians 6:13-14 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth
There’s a war within our land, a battle for the right.
The lies of the enemy are clouding out the light.
But God has raised His banner high, He calls for no retreat.
As faithful soldiers let us stand and claim His victory.
Stand for truth; though you’re standing all alone,
Stand for truth; God will help to make you strong.
Run with courage in the fight, Walk by faith and not by sight.
Stand for truth. Stand for truth!
And so the battle rages, with choices every day.
Will we search the Word of God or toss the truth away?
Let us hold on to His promises and seek the higher call.
Listening for the vict’ry cry, giving Him our all.
Stand up, Stand up for Jesus
Ye soldiers of the cross
